Tana is our favorite color of Alpine. I want to keep any kid that hits the ground that is her color. Unfortunately I can’t do that or I’d really have too many goats. Tana is taller then her dam and she is very correct like her dam. Tana is very level on the top line. Her rump is level from thurl to thurl and from hips to pins. Tana has a nice long body. Tana is a very balanced doe with good strong bone. Thingy hasmixed well with Tara and we have repeated the breeding for 3 years. Tara gives the strength and Thingy gives the dairy ness. Tana has correct rear leg angulation and she is wide between the hocks and tracks straight. She does have rounded shoulder blades, but she has one of our nicer front ends, tight against the body and properly placed. Tana’s dam has a smooth well supported mammary. We are hoping that Tana will get this lovely mammary with more production. Tana is bred to Troubadour for March 2011 kids. This breeding is bringing Amie back in. Let’s hope it’s not too tight. Looking to add some height.
