Fayme
gave us 3 little boys as a yearling. To
our surprise she held up very well, body, feet and all.
Fayme has great legs. She
tracks very straight and is very strong on her pasterns.
We purchased Fayme with hopes of improving feet and legs.
She has one of the better shoulder assemblies. Her rear legs are wide
between the hocks, with good angulation. Fayme is also a feminine type
of doe. She is such a lady.
She has a sweet gentle look to her eye, which makes you smile.
She has been just wonderful to work with.
She is an easy milker. Fayme has a very long level rump &
back. Fayme could use some improvement in the fore udder.
It’s not as smoothly blended, as we’d like.
We are hoping to see improvement in this area with her second
freshening in 2007. Her teat size and placement are ideal for a yearling. She
could use a little more rear udder height, but she has a good rear udder arch.
She is average when it comes to production and dairiness.
Fayme was a little small this summer, but she has really put on some
size this winter. Fayme was shown only 2 times this year and took 3rd
and 5th out of 7.
