Cuddles turned out to be one of my very favorite does.  When she was born it was a very windy cold, cold day and she did not want to live.  I gave her special attention and she decided she wanted to live after all.  Then the urinary track did not disconnect from the umbilical cord and she got sick and I had to baby her again and she pulled through that. She was going to go to California, but when I went to sell her, I just cried and cried, I just could not let her go.  We had been through too much together.  She is still very special and I’m so glad she stayed. She picked up her dry leg first time out as a dry yearling in 2007.  She stayed home, until the Nationals rolled around and she ended up showing best of all our dry yearlings. She is excellent in front end, front legs, back and rump.  She is straight on the move.  She is angular and deep bodied.  She’s a large doe with big strong bones. She’s nice and wide and high in the escutcheon and wide between the hocks. We are just waiting for an udder and let’s hope it’s as great as the rest of her.
