Cozy is so much like her dam. She is very correct in general appearance. She’s my kind of goat. Her udder is so smoothly blended. Her teat size, shape & placement are ideal and talk about easy to milk. It is very unfortunate that Cozy lost ½ her udder, so she is now milking only on one side. As a yearling she peaked at 12lbs and was easily on her way to a 3000 lb milking lactation, then she lost her left half. Cozy has a level back and rump. She has strength of bone and body. She is very deep in body, with spring of rib and flat open ribbing. She is excellent in shoulder assembly, which is so hard for an Alpine to receive. If I could change something about Cozy, it would be her pasterns, yet not bad, most of our girls are better. Her hooves may spread a little, yet they are deep and balanced. She is wide between the hocks and she tracks straight, but when viewed from the side, she could use a little more rear leg angulation. Cozy loves hugs and company and she is good company herself. We just love Cozy so much and she is here to stay. We miss her dam oh so very much and Cozy is such a gift in helping us remember our very special Slipper.
